Ideas for Boosting Your Immune System

Your Immune System consists of immune cells and immune system organs that produce the immune cells, or should we call them the defenders of your body to fend off pathogenic microbes and toxins.  Therefore, the health condition of your immune organs and cells is critical, and think of them as any other part of your body which requires your best care.  As I explained previously, the three important factors you need to look at are:

  1. The integral part of the immune system and sleep,
  2. How stress affects your immunity
  3. And, of course, consuming immune-boosting food as the foundation of your health.

The reason I place emphasis on these factors is that people ask me what supplements, vitamins, or herbs I  recommend for them.  But I always ask them, “How are your sleep, stress level, and food choices being managed?” Unless you take care of these issues first I doubt very  much if other remedies will help--such as swallowing vitamin pills in your mouth. However, if you are managing your three factors well and still need help to enhance your immune function--then here is what I can share with you.

Several Ideas for Boosting Your Immune System

One of the first things I started researching is how Coconut Oil Improves the Immune System due to its antimicrobial properties then I started integrating it into my diet and never looked back again.  So my first recommendation is to start adding a small amount of this wonderful tropical oil to your diet and it does not have to be consumed every day but make it part of your choice when it comes to consuming oil along with your meals.

Another category for enhancing your health is by using herbal remedies for low immunity since plants are the masters of creating all sorts of phytochemicals such as herbs like astragalus and ashwagandha.

Another useful idea is to use Medicinal Mushrooms for the Immune System, and although mushrooms are sometimes classified in the herb category however they are part of the fungi kingdom.

Many of us work out by going to the gym or exercise at home, and you can do the same thing to exercise the immune system.  I also share with you how to do that if you are not already doing it, and this exercise is important for your kids, too.

Of course, another strategy, I added to my overall health improvement plan is taking certain vitamins, antioxidants, superfoods, and other supplements to boost my immunity and becoming more resistant to diseases.

Final Words

I have little doubt, if any when you approach your health care as a long-term investment--and not only your retirement pension--you will have a higher quality of life, free of or a very minimum of sickness, and a longer life that translates to aging gracefully thanks to your healthy Immune System and optimal overall health.  That way you can enjoy your retirement pension, and you will not be spending it on driving to hospitals and going to doctors’ visits.
